1098 Augusta Way

This is our home of 35 years, and a home we want to see making another family as happy as it has made ours!  We started with a great 4200 square foot house with a bar tile roof on a wonderful corner lot with mountain views to the north and the east and panoramic valley views from the deep, 80 foot long balcony on the west.  Over the years we pushed the house out on all four sides with an enlarged bathroom on the west, a sunroom/greenhouse on the east, a mountain-view balcony on the south, and a large sky-lighted library with panoramic windows on the north.
The result is a 5000 square foot home with 6 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, a family room, a billiard room, a large den/office, and a marvelous sunlit library.
Surrounded by mature shade and fruit trees, this home is in the best location in the valley, at 2900 East and 1100 South, high above the Hogle Zoo, about 3-8 minutes from The University of Utah, The Research Park, The University Hospital, and Foothill Village Shopping Mall.
By the way, it also has a hot tub, a sauna, and an genuine NBA backboard and rim above the backyard court.
Drive by and see it from the outside and if you think you like it, give us a call at 801.541.4430 and we  will show you the inside.  The price is 649,000.00 and it might be negotiable for just the right family.

Best,  Richard and Linda

PS: One more thing:  Owner financing and rental provisions may be possible!

    1. Thank you for your example and wonderful words of encouragement to parents over many years. My husband got a job in another state or I would buy this house in a heartbeat! I love the warmth of the sun through your windows, the nice jacuzzi next to the parents bedroom, the backyard with picnic tables and enough room for free play, the focus on music with the framed instruments and multi use of a pool table with less emphasis on TV. Thank you for sharing your world with your fans. I hope your move meets your expectations and affords you time to visit family and reach personal goals. Best wishes, thanks for everything.

  2. I almost feel like I was growing up in that house while I was reading your books as a very young mother. I echo the above sentiments and thank you for those wonderful shared moments of your family. As an only child, raising a large family was so foreign to me and reading your books helped me to realize that chaos is part of the deal! In some ways you even contributed to my conversion to the Church. I was not a member when I first got your books.

  3. This house is absolutely beautiful and in a wonderful area! My husband and I are both students at the University of Utah and living on campus in the family apartments over on Sunnyside Ave. We have six month year old baby girl and have been looking at houses. I wish we had a more money to spend on a house like this right now. This is absolutely gorgeous. Whoever ends up with this is going to be so lucky. GOOD LUCK!!!

  4. What a beautiful home! Our family recently relocated to the Salt Lake area for my husband's job. Unfortunately it is out of our price range. But I tell you what we could offer a lot of love with our smaller price!! :)
